Crazy Woman by Glena M. Waterhouse

Lonely,

In the destitude of the night.

Darkness,

     Devouring me into despair.

Satin's at my door,

...knocking...knocking

Tempting,

Yes it's to far to go.

Depressed,

In the blackness of my room,

          Life,

               Pouring our with my blood.

Look...

...a stairway up ahead...

...yet...it only goes down.

I am a crazy woman

Enclosed within myself

Nowhere to go,

No sunshine in my life

Just darkness.

Sirenes,

     The silence is broken.

Death,

     Taking me over...

Yet God,

     Is holding out His hand...

...I can't reach...

......but I pray.

Life,

     Is coming back to me,

Sunshine,

     Seeping through my mind.

No longer am I dying,

My heart,

     Is silently crying.

Forgive me Lord,

For trying to deny myself life,

Thank You for another chance,

     I won't let You down.
