Cracked but not broken

Cracked but not broken

Proverbs 18:14 New English Translation (NET Bible)

14 A person’s spirit sustains him through sickness—
but who can bear a crushed spirit?

Spiritual sickness ... what a thought

who can recognize it?

What are the symptoms ... what is the cure

what medicine to prescribe it?

Who would be the doctor ... who to turn too

or what if you don’t feel sick?

All questions ... just one answer

and that with no variety.

If it is broken can I feel it?

It concentrates on my attention.

Nothing else matters now

just the fact I fell apart.

I know for sure that I’m helpless

and gone is all pretension.

I hunger to be healed

in the desires of the heart.
