Don't let THEM be the boss! Because you are gorgeous and you are special and none of that Maybelline is going to be worth the purchase if you're just going to sell your soul. So don't, don't sell your soul to the media that has only ever told you that "YOU AREN'T GOOD ENOUGH" and that if you'll just buy one more product, you will look worthwhile. Until, of course, you see that other girl's smile, and realize that yours is kinda lopsided, even after braces. And that you can run, and run, and run but the winner of that race is ALWAYS going to be her.
So you buy more products.

and then you go get your teeth polished and buffed
JUST so that you can be as good as her.
But then a new girl comes to town.

And you have to compete again
another race to try to win but you can't win all of them and the sooner you realize that the better off you'll be, because you see, you were made just the way you're supposed to be, and you shouldn't need man-made products to make you feel reconstructed.
