Countless Names

The Countless names of war being spoken KIA,

The Countless faces of fear as they washed up on the beach that day,

They could not leave fore they were at sea, it was a sea that no one wished to be in,

One by one exiting the carrier, falling on the French shore,

Guns firing through the rain as it started to pour,

The sacrifices given by these brave men should not be forgot,

Everyone  knows it was they who fought for our freedom

But thanks must be given to these people who turned the tide,

No matter what, they should never lose their pride,

And never forget the countless names of the men who died,

Though some weep and cry to this very day,

Never forget about D-day,
