Could it be Love?

Currently, in my adolescent stage

I find it easy to communicate via words on a page

I'm not saying that I cannot eloquently speak

for in my youth my charisma is at it's peak

but this piece is not written to admire myself

it's for you the one who makes my heart melt

I've fallen deeply in love with your brain

when you go I have this gutwrenching pain

you are constantly floating through my mind

I suspect you to stay there, idle until the end of time

But am I keen on you or a mere memory

of what we used to be

but let's not start, to fall apart

our beaten pathes have crossed once more

is this a sign to rekindle our past amour

you have stuck with me and I with you

this fact is one we both try to hide

jusr for a meager sense of pride

a fallacy to keep our heads up high

this may be our fatal demise

as we grow our ego's are on the rise

so before my head is fully inflated

I'm overcome with conviction and it must be stated

when you're around I become elated

I surrender my heart to you for all that i'm worth

as I gaze deep into your eyes; I see the ultimate prize

which is you, my beautiful angel on earth
