Conversations with Clouds

He lifted his head,

Screamed with all his might,

‘Why clouds?

Why do you pour on me every day and every night?’

The clouds looked down,

Boomed with a thunderous laugh,

‘Why would you deserve

To not feel our wrath?’

He was puzzled but curious.

What do the clouds mean?

‘Tell me clouds,

What have you seen?’

‘We have seen you,

Inside and out.

Your heart is pure black.

You’ve gone down the wrong route.’

The clouds bellowed and flashed

And said one thing more,

‘You are truly lost.’

A minute passed and there was a heavy downpour.
