Contemplate

Be it light be it dark
All these matters in my heart
Take apart
This little cart that has always failed
To turn and start.

I’m looking left and then it’s right
Till there’s nothing left in sight

Little boy why so down
Don’t you know it’s not a good idea
To gaze about with a frown

So take that thought turn it round
What goes up must come down

Always know
That the haters gonna hate and the players gonna play
So why you wasting all that time
Bowing down to contemplate?

Be it light be it dark
All these matters in my heart
Take apart
This little cart that has always failed
To turn and start.

I’m looking left and then it’s right
Till there’s nothing left in sight

Little boy why so down
Don’t you know it’s not a good idea
To gaze about with a frown

So take that thought turn it round
What goes up must come down

Always know
That the haters gonna hate and the players gonna play
So why you wasting all that time
Bowing down to contemplate?
