What is Love? A trivial thing?

A higher power one may believe?

Emotion one yearns when theirs is so hurt?

Or a wink, a single causation to flirt?

Love is all of these things and yet, so much more.

Love is feeling we must find in our heart.

A melody of beats I felt from the start.

The Lovers, Invisible Hands found us that art.

Unbearable sadness, I felt, once we did part.

Love is all of these things and yet, so much more.

A relationship, I wonder, how could it be?

A bond between us, what would she think?

Am I too odd, weird, or foul for us to be seen?

For us to be together too much of a dream?

Love is all of these things and yet, so much more.

I had nothing to lose, unless I did try.

Worst case scenario, I would probably die.

I worried constantly about her reply

And where our relationship would possibly lie.

Love is all of these things and yet, so much more.

So here we are now, what would we do?

An intimate relationship without the abuse?

An abusive relationship where we speak only the truth?

Or a night of the town, unless you refuse.

Love is all of these things and yet, so much more

But what really is Love? What could it be?

Is it a tangible feeling I only can see?

The Time in my life where I spend it with you?

My mind is so boggled, unknowing the truth.

Love is all of these things and yet, so much more

So venture out, find Love, is what I implore.
