Confusing World

Comin' up in this confusing world

You're not sure if you're a boy or a girl

You told me not to tell your parents

But could your haircut make it any more apparent?

Somebody help me get through this

Identity crisis!

You've been consumed by the disconnect

Uncertainty and fear for what's next

You don't even know your own name, you said

"Is it the world or is it me that's insane?"

I never thought it'd be like this

Identity crisis!

Such confusion in my heart

I don't know where to start

But there's one thing I know for sure

She's not your little girl anymore

Fallin' down, you don't know where you stand

You're not sure if you're a woman or a man

It takes some time to learn to play this game

Some things you feel you just can't explain

It never used to be like this

Identity crisis!

Somebody help me get through this

Identity crisis!

He don't know what's in his head

She don't like what the mirror says

Livin' in a world of confusion and doubt

I've got faith you'll figure it out
