The Con of Science

THE CON OF SCIENCE
BY SEMMI SAMSON
When the smoke clears
And the ground disappears
He is still here.
Conscience is the myth
That became a reality only
To become a ghost that
Haunts the mind with thoughts.
Thoughts of lions and tigers and bears
Oh my conscience is not like chemistry or
Biology or physics or forensics
For we can never con science.
But Conscience is the heart’s continuous defiance.

Crowd Snaps. Or Not. But They Heard Me.
