Complexion

Tue, 07/28/2015 - 00:21 -- _Trey_

Dark Skinned, Light Skinned, No color should be ashamed

No matter what our complexion is, it all feels the same.

Dark as the midnight sky, Bright as the morning sun

Regardless of  our color look at how far we've come

shades of white, shades of brown, and every shade in between

None of it really matters , it's all beautiful to me.

Black, White, Mexican even oriental

Regardless of our complexion we all have endless potential

Who we are to judge, Just because of our color

Your complexion doesn't make you better than him , her or the others

Just we don't have the same complexion

I'll still show you the same affection

Living in a generation where shadiness is drawn from our shades

We have to create a new path, in spite of the one our ancestors paved

Dark Skinned, Light Skinned no matter the perception

It's all so beautiful, each and every complexion
