A Complaint Toward Air Travel and Airports

I don't understand how commercial air travel is still the transportation of choice. Masses of travellers being crammed into the plane like a tin can of sardines. It is one of those modern inconviences we have chosen to bear with, but I wonder how long we will bear the unpleasantries of cramped and germ infested air travel, and the airport bureaucracy that comes with it. Sitting next to the person you love seems to be the only relief
to all this torture that seems to be a part of this contemporary hour.
Then the fires of hell cool a little in the passenger seat and the coughs reduce in their consistency.
