Complacent

You thought you knew my heart.

You just knew my mind

I thought i knew your dreams

I just knew your outline.

We thought we knew our past.

But we both just knew certain localities.

Daym...

You rushed too quickly to the end.

Thinking you can have the fruit

the same day you planted the seed.

And there I was giving into your selfish needs.

You thought love was just a mood but it's a commitment even after your mood changes.

Your fearful of change.

That's truly why you're complacent.
