Coloring In

Location

When you're a child

You colored outside the lines

In green, blue, orange, and yellow

You never paid any attention to the crayon you picked up

So why is it that now

When your voice matters the most

When you speak lound enough that people can finally hear you

You choose to color in using white and black

Mixing in shades of brown where you see fit

Never diverging

Always paying attention

To the color of their skin

Instead of them
