Color in a black and white world

Left! Right! Left!

-          Don’t stumble!

Which one is left?

Im out of step!

Platoon! Halt!

-          Have to be still.

So bored.

“I am a robot”

At ease!

-          Finally!

Magic flows

Words fly

The world is not black and white

There is a rainbow

For those who know the magic words

The words that set minds free

And make heads spin

Faces turn red with rage

Or flush pink with excitement

Words are magic

To set me free from the strict regime

-          For a time…

Until the call interrupts the flow

And I am forced to listen again

Forward! March!

-          First step, left foot

Keep pace

Too fast… too slow…

Left! Right! Left!
