The feelings that I've

experienced.

the hardships that I've

encountered,

the lies I've heard,

the tears I've cried..

The promises I believed

all broken along with

my heart.

And even though I shed tears

as I write, I know that I'm getting

closer to my dreams.

Because you can't have a

rainbow

without a little rain,

and you won't know happiness

without a little pain.
