Clarisse's Colors

a faint glow of skin and dark eyes a curious

before times when books were glorious

brushes of dandelion

ideas cased in iron

Dull ideas taken not

breaths of strawberry and apricot

picking pockets of the soul

out of anyone's control

Sunrise pink brushing the clouds

Sunset gold painting the grounds

their silhouette

a broken cassette

Her talk's alluring

he finds himself maturing

Inspiring Epiphanies

Clicking like symphonies

Speaking gentle hunger

The heart she'll puncture

Rain tastes like wine

To unearth his design

She remolds broken glass

bottom of her class

called out for being weird

because her mind they feared

Marked as anti-social

unafraid of being emotional

Thoughtful therapy

Concise without clarity

Cars too fast

She's now the past
