City

Thu, 01/02/2014 - 23:47 -- zeb

An ancient city, crumbling.

Ancient walls next to

Not so ancient skyscrapers,

All of them scattered, together.

In the center runs a river,

Splitting the ancient history

And only adding to it

With its murky water.

Cracked sidewalks

And ancient stones

Defined a city

That defined them.
