Everyday I see a reference to an old movie,

Everday I watch a review for a new film,

Everyday I hear people talking about T.V.,

Everyday I find more cinema,

 

But then I wonder,

Do people really understand?

Are movies just something to pass the time?

Aren't you watching the same thing as me?

 

I don't see what they see,

I see a different world,

A different time,

Not just backdrops and scripts

 

Film is what brought me back to life,

Because it took me away

 

Film made me think,

It made me feel

 

Film is not just a form of entertainment for me,

Cinema is my life

 

I will stride this Earth until my time,

I shall read and write until I bleed,

I will wait until I can find

A production company willing to back me
