Cinderella

Lets take a trip back in the day

Once upon a time far away

There was a girl who was helpless every day

She lost her mother there is not much to say

Her father remarried to a woman so rude

Her step sisters had a bad attiude

He soon passed away and left her alone

Now everyone she loved is gone

They did not like her not one little bit

So they made a small room for her to fit

She clean the house as if she was a maid

She did this without getting paid

The prince came to town looking for a princess

But the poor girl was a mess

Everyone was invited to the ball except the girl

Her family did want her to dance and twirl

She cried as she watch them leave

Then something came down the chimney

She was the fairy Godmother wih a wand and a pair of wings

She told the girl to gather some things

A pumpkin, rats, and you that is all

Now watch me work my magic so you can attend the ball

With a carriage and two men escorting the girl to the door

There stood a prince in the middle of the dance floor

As she look down below everyone stop and stare

The prince took a glare

He danced with the girl all night

By 12'o clock she took flight

She left behind a glass slipper

The prince knew this was the girl he was after

He went to town to search for this mystery girl

He across a cottage where three women waited

He place the slipper on their foot, but neither fitted

He saw the poor girl cleaning the floor

He walked towards the door

He placed the slipper on her foot and smile

They kissed for awhile

The prince married Cinderella

You can say he is a lucky fella
