The Church Girls tale

My difference was what made me unique I always thought you had to fit  in as in a clique My  hair was long and silky as satin  I had deep brown eyes that guided me to understanding the world I spoke with authority about what I believed I sang songs which could reach the heavens I was passionate to bringing laughter and joy into people's lives But when i encountered the love of God everything changed Who would I be without him, so to speak I was a quiet, yet attentive person, but never weak Most things made me laugh  I was unashamed of the person I was I was tempted but remained faithful I worshiped in front of many  But felt his presence in my loneliness  I didn't let other’s criticism change who she was I listened and valued the advice others spoke I yearned for wisdom and knowledge and never took them as a joke  I loved bringing positivity into people's lives My determination brought me to places unimaginable  Some would say I was crazy and delusional  I mean c’mon believing in something you can't see ? It Takes great faith and trust to believe in the unknown
