Christian Love

1 Peter 3:8

Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.

Tie.

On Sunday morn dressed up and clean

ready to go to church.

I slip my tie, matching of sorts, to the

suit or coat I wear.

Reminds me now of the Tie that binds

our hearts in one accord.

Why than do I wear it around my neck

is that a metaphor?

It should be worn around my heart

and not tied by me

but by the Lord Who draws me to

“His Bride” to be sincere.

To rest on Him and with His Own

who gather on that morn

to praise and sing and worship Him

with them that are reborn.
