Choosing to Live

Location

There’s something wrong

When daughters

No longer want their fathers

To walk them down the isle

When suddenly the picture frame

Is too small

To fit the family

Or when there’s no family

At all

These problems seem so big

Here and now

But years from now

You’d be thankful

If I could change the world

The entire world

I would tell them all

That even though their problems

 Are not small

They can still stand tall

The end should not be your choice

You can always have a voice

As long as you are brave enough

To use it

And then hopefully

They can hear this clearly

Enough to see the truth

And continue living

And continue giving

The world a chance

Life does not end

Where your problems begin

If it does

Then you’re stuck

And never get free

Chose to live
