I, the teacher, want to train them
I’ve studied and seen how to do what when
I must make good judgments to provide what they need
To help them choose wisely, I must lead
Lead in my classroom, lead in my life
I’ll stand in the good times and through the strife
I hope that they see something in me
That inspires them to be all they can be
