Choices

If I could change one thing

I would change my choices

I would have said no to the peer pressure

No to the party

No to the drinking

I would have said yes to being the designated driver

Or yes to calling parents

Or yes to staying the night

I would have said no to my friends.

I might have lost them

But atleast we would still be alive.

If I could change my choices

I would have had a lifetime of choices to make.

But now choices don't matter.

Now my family cries,

Now my frieds cry,

My choices killed me

My choices killed my family.

My choices killed my future.

One choice, just one choice

I would change, that one choice.
