Children and rainbows

Genesis 9:13-16

13 I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of My Covenant

with you and with all the earth.

14 When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will appear in the clouds,

15 and I will remember My Covenant with you and with all living creatures.

Never again will the floodwaters destroy all life.

16 When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember the Eternal Covenant between God and every living creature on earth.”

Sand castles

Building castles in the sand before the tide comes

A struggle so unusual in its own loosing way

Children united in an effort to protect

The sinking sand from water on this sunny day

Oh how precious the thought of unison in a loosing battle

Little hands covered with sand fighting the ever-moving sea

How many have not tried while continents rattle

As united we seem to fall in our everlasting plea?

Once upon a time all man lost the struggle

Against rising waters and the rumbling of the earth

Now we are for certain as we can snuggle

Close to the Lord Almighty in our 2nd birth

Tears for the unknown are now caught in a circle

Never to move out again of spin of influence

Well prepared to move any kind of hurdle

Through prayer and Grace in Life, a 2nd chance
