Child O Child

Mon, 08/03/2015 - 02:10 -- ADiaz03

As a child I dreamed of love and happiness.

As a child I saw drugs and hateness.

As a child I dreamed of hugs and laughter.

As a child I saw tears and bruises.

As a child I dreamed of being Daddy's little girl.

As a child I was Daddy's punching bag.

Child O child

wipe away the tears.

As you get older you will not have these fears.

Daddy the monster has gone away.

Now here is mommy and she is here to stay.

Trust me these days have gone away.

They will stay in memory lane far far away.

No need to cover the bruises no more.

Child O child please smile some more.
