Chemicals Last Forever, Right?

You were our hero

Hovering over our

Innocence.

But you swapped your

Respect for oxytocin rushing

Through your veins

for a taste of love

and a taste of innocence.

You tore into muscles

with your own sense of discipline,

which drinks in the sweat

and screams

of pain,

of pain.

And you can finally

relax.

How long has it been

since failure begged for you?

You wear it well now.
