Cheating Childhood

Cheating Childhood

Life was great!

Here comes my father never late!

I lived and I laughed!

Without reason our happiness seemed to last!

I had no idea that would be the last day within my past.

Life was alright.

Where was my father it was already after night?

I sat and I waited.

Without reason grew deep confusion.

I had no idea what he was doing. Maybe he found a substitution.

Life was dull.

Where was my father? With some other.

I watched and kept silent for my mother.

With reason I was filled with sadness and torment.

I and only I knew what he was doing ever so consistent.

Life is wretched.

My father now with someone unsplendid.

I first broke and then mended.

With reason I am now emotionless and committed.

I and only I have one obligation making sure the family he left behind stays collected.

End.
