Changing Seasons

Location

 Falling leaves

The chilling air

Darker days bring more despair

Brilliant colors reds and golds

The autumn days, the people old

Winter soon,

Too soon, too soon

Frozen over dark and gloom

cozy sweaters, steamy cups

gift exchanges, leave us bankrupt

wet and cold

green and gold

purple pink blooms unfold

plants so lush, the people new

rain wash away the dark and gloom

Where's the warmth where's the heat?

Summer days are my retreat

The people young, the fruit so sweet

sandals, shorts, painted nails, bare feet.
