Everyone is complaining about the way our world works,

Yet I never see people changing, only acting like jerks.

So much judgement and hatred and not enough hope.

Maybe if we stop the neativity people will learn to cope.

But we don't just need to cope, no, we need to heal.

In order to heal people need to feel.

Feeling the pain, the anger and even the hurt.

There may be hope if we just insert.

Inserting a seed, just one good seed.

Giving a smile or helping someone in need.

Spreading hope to those all around.

We can do this without making a sound.

Showing our chidren how to treat others.

By treating everyone like sisters and brothers.

After all, we all started the same.

Screaming little babies with only a name.

Our land is called the place of dreams.

Yet crushing those that seem,

Maybe a bit different from you or me.

But we were all made eqaul can't you see.

If we all opened our eyes and stopped pointing fingers.

The hurt we've created will always linger.

We can't take it back but we can apologize.

Realization will be the first step in fixing the lies.

The lies we've been told to believe about change.

Change can happen, it will just be strange.

A strange concept for those brought up in negatvity.

Opened only to pesimistic ideals similar to captivity.

Captivity based on how to think, act and be.

This is why they cannot see.

They were taught to believe that the world is stuck,

Stuck in these issues, well that's just our luck.

Maybe that's beause there's no faith in our generation.

We should probably start with hope in our nation.

Hope can be achieved if we just realize this.

Change won't be easy, but it will bring bliss.

How we act and treat others is only a start.

But overall we need a change of heart.
