Like the Chance of Rain in Nevada (It Will Never Happen)

Sand Angels and Dust Devils

Lone star child blowing with the wind

Vacant rivers and sea less levels

Wild West Story with no end

Like a tamed wild horse

It can never happen

Like an Arizona shore

No one will ever be her Captain

Desert December and Snowless Winters

Mean nothing to the dime store girl

Flowerless meadows and trees that wither

Are only nature's lyrics  tangled in her curls

Like Nevada’s chance of rain

The percent is always less than zero

Like a struggle without pain

No one will ever be her hero
