The Champions' Best Friend

Mon, 04/11/2016 - 18:21 -- Tulio

Wake me up in the morning

And kick me in the night,

When I have just a few minutes to write

Because the sun is dawning.

-

I don't know anymore how many shirts are wet,

Neither how many times I felt almost dead.

My body is overflowing from brine, blood and sweat.

But there is still a long way ahead.

-

When I think I am doing well

You make me crawl and I keep going through hell.

You are the toughest one I've ever met

Yet I have no regrets.

-

Because only through you I can get to the top.

Where the sky shines a million shades of blue

And all my dreams come true.

That place where happiness is on top.

-

I may fall down on the way

But I'll try again for you've taught me to appreciate the pain.

Dear Hardwork, I can't live without you, and I just want to say

That if you want to wake me up earlier tomorrow, it is okay!
