Caught In Oblivion

With the farthest thought in sight

With the closest word caught alive

I'm caught in oblivion

My faith swayed from highs to lows

The stretch of hearts being torn

As I'm caught in oblivion

Doubts appearing out of sight,

Always hitting the heights

Obligated to make wrong right

To never be caught up in oblivion

A fire is set ablaze

Obviated by a sudden snap

Reality unfolds in the middle of my gaze

Proving nothing ever lasts

All in oblivion
