Catharsis

Catharsis

There’s blood on the pages and it’s all mine,

And it’s always been mine,

And it always will be mine,

Forever.

I was the Quiet before the Storm, the Dark before the Dawn,

I was the Fire and the Fury, the angry Wrath of Kahn,

I was tripping and flipping, I was Dying and Gone,

I was ready to Explode to blow up like a Bomb.

Like a song that’s topped the charts, I was about to fall off,

Into my own little void, so I could stew like a broth,

Cause all the pain that I felt made my blood boil and froth,

But at the end of the day, I’ll just chalk it up to a Losss.

Or a lapse in sanity, You can’t plan for misery,

¿Were they really feeling me? There’s no sympathy for free,

But that’s ok cause I’m broke and I’d never wanna buy it,

I’ve found the best to self soothe and I think everyone should try it.

I write. Not out of spite for the pain I’ve been given,

But more to shed some light on the life that I’m Livin,

Because to express all this mess, in blood it is written,

Is the freedom to acquiesce and shit be forgiven.

There’s blood on the pages and it’s all mine,

And it’s always been mine,

And it always will be mine,

Forever.
