Catching Feelings

Catching Feelings

We are both fishing for each other

But only one of us is willing to get caught,

Up and hooked on to these feelings we have for each other

See I’m steady swimming, and you just steady floating,

Around waiting for me to come to you

And live in the moments of the liquid passion that wave past us

But you’re a mystery, deeper than the unknown

Deeper than the undiscovered, Ocean

Your mind brings out my Sapio-sexuality

I think I’m confused

Infatuations…so mysterious

Infatuations… so mysterious

Infatuations killing me, because I don’t know if you feel the same

Because from you, I want everything

But from me, it seems you only want one thing

Maybe I’m just catching feelings

The imagination in contemplation of black Love

Dripping soulful slow jams as the sensual bass vibes through my body

I want you to touch me

But I am a romantic

Not feeling just for the momentary pleasure

No,

I want you to stroke my mind

As you caress my body

Warm my soul

Yet, even as you hold me, I begin to push you away

Because my Body can sense it

There is no Connection

So there is no sincere affection…for me

You wanna touch, but you don’t wanna feel

You want HD, but you don’t want what’s real

Maybe I’m just catching feelings

Caught up in the fishnet of day dreams

Reality carrying me over its shoulder

As my gills can no, longer, breathe

Infatuations of you

Infatuations for you

Infatuations numbing me

From your true feelings and

It’s Killing Me
