Catch Up, I Dare You
I stand at the horizons of other men,
Brought forth by my dreams and ambitions,
And I trek and swim marathons,
Closing in on goals so distant.
I have not disguised myself,
Nor have I manipulated my image.
It is the failings of others who refuse to journey and see
The beauty that I carry with me.
Yet I shall not slow,
Never will I trail behind,
My wings compel me forward,
Your shortcomings shall not be mine.
