A Carpel and a Girl

Location

When all the petals have fallen,

a lonely carpel on a stem, is

finally given its moment to shine.

Its confidence grows dim and afraid.

The petals, so bright, welcome the world

and glow with confidence.

Her outgoing nature is a wonderful sight,

Never failing to bring a smile to someone's face.

But on the inside, she shrinks and retreats in vulnerability.

A little more shy, her confidence is taken away.

Carpel and girl, the same.
