Can't Part from Coffee

Mother of 5, not knowing if her day will rise.

Rubbing her eyes, hoping to keep the day alive.

Grabbing for her cup, to take a sip of the rush.

Waiting for the warmth to enter my veins and reach right for my brain.

Without that first cup, I would never get through the monring rush.

Coffee is my life support, like a single mother waiting on that child support.
