Can't Live Without

Wed, 01/27/2016 - 13:04 -- Shirif

If your house is on fire, what would you save?

What (or who) would allow you to be brave?

If my life was on the line,

I'd be sure to grab my family.

Neither my phone, laptop, or time

Is as important as the people

Who are with me through thick and thin

So no, if my house was on fire,

I would not save an item,

Something that I paid for and has little to no value

I would save people.

I would save my family.

Because haven't you heard?

With money you can buy another phone

Another computer

Another book

More jewelry

But family?

You can't buy family

Families are priceless

Me
My family
