Can You Hear Me?

Can you hear me?
Or is the noise from the chaos to loud.
its crazy...cause moments and senseless
motions are suddenly blocking my
mental process...
I thought we were living in the year of 2014,
not 1963
the fact that racism still exist hurts
is it me or have we immune ourselves
with pain because we have become
so blind and refuse to believe it
that we have sat back and hid it
hoping no one will notice
with no hope or a way out...we are left
tryna fight ...the same fight

This cycle is left repeating
remaining a movie that is unending
spinning n spinning until the sound
from the wheel is silent
tears and cries from un heard voices
lay deep within the streets...we seek justice but
justice is no longer walkin cause injustice
was influenced by its mistress.
If love is infinite
then why have we taken it and break-in it into
a thousand pieces
taking the dust and shoving them into bullets
accepting losses
commenting with ignorance
So again I ask...Can you hear me?

Are you even listening?
Or are your ears bleefing from the sound
of the trigger
pulled by hands of men who swore
they would defend
for again we have lost another brother
Laying next to you
officially we're missing you
we want answers answers...but our
unanswered questions turn into violence
violence into pain
then pain into riots....Get it?
The battle we wanna fight is not ours to fight
But God's
if we had his eyes, God's eyes
we'd see things differently
Rest in peace
and may peace lay within its mist
Can you hear me?
