Can I Sleep Please?

Sat, 11/30/2013 - 13:51 -- eimsmh

At my school, every day is all work no play.

We get so tired that we just drift away.

Staying up ‘till twelve and up at six,

It’s a miracle we aren’t all sick.

Sometimes I wish that homework was less,

That we could sleep more and have less stress.

Homework is busy work and I just want

To be like friends who’s lack of homework they flaunt.

Don’t get me wrong, I am glad to say,

That my education will take me a long way.

I just would like to sleep a lot more,

Then I would really appreciate the future I have in store.
