John 8:44       New English Translation

44 You people are from your father the devil, and you want to do what your father desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.

 

Camouflage

 

Satan appears like the prince of light, and so do his demons

Camouflaged as joy and peace, they mislead most in the flock

Temporal is all they can give for nothing else lasts in meaning

For they gear to is the flesh as feelings run amok

 

Emotions make easy prey for Satan and his cohorts.

In our pursuit of happiness, we expect ourselves to feel good

Our liking becomes everything, and it drives our effort

To sustain our level of satisfaction and satisfy our mood

 

When Satan gains control over almost all of our feelings

And in doing so, he induces supernatural sensations

Sometimes floating in the air electrified or freezing

Fire burning from toe to toe, so fake happiness proclaiming

 

The Holy Spirit operates in the spirit of a man.

The inducing of feelings probably about nine or ten

It comes through an evil spirit manipulating the reason

Overpowering your soul, like in a past tense

 

We should not allow any bodily feelings

Direct and guide us against our own will

When that happens, the loss of control molds the meaning

As your will seems pulverized and your mood slides downhill
