The Butterfly with Blue Wings

There was a butterfly

blue as it can be.

The butterfly flew past me

but I did not see the wing.

It landed on the shell

looking colorful to me.

I thought, “Maybe this bug,

is a girl to me?”

Then I realized, “This creature is extraordinary, let me feed this thing.”

As I was feeding, something seemed odd.

I saw a big bump under her bod.

Maybe it was pregnant or maybe it was fat.

It didn’t matter to me,

as long it was free.

As time went by,

it flew away.

So long butterfly,

see you in my dream.
