Butt-Ass Naked

Location

His fingers trace the outline of my delicate body

Drawing hearts around my cheeks down to my clavicle

Standing, I see myself pensively glaring back at me

So life was pristine like my ma’s spotless shack

And colors were ambiguous like the placement of diction

Of course as a pubescent, nothing was lacked

Excluding the fairytale that any darkness was fiction

A reality check rapidly made my acquaintance

With murmurs and deceptions that fiercely chased me

Neglecting to execute my advisors’ abeyance

Led me in a position not wanted to be

Hastily in a crucial situation

Where lies and pardons are the essence of me

Naive I am of those same tribulations

pick-up lines and trite catchphrases kneeled a knee

Jerking to the presence from his sizzling touch

where his love leaves its marks on me

The marks that imply his unconditional love that steams

The marks that express his jealousy about me

The marks that represent that he and I will always be

Standing, piercing at my reflection of what has come of me

I stand seeking for the other me

The me when people could not take advantage of me:

Not butt-ass naked for the world to see
