Burnt Chocolate

Sun, 02/07/2016 - 10:21 -- chario

So rich in flavor, natural and raw

It's no clue no one can withstand my

Exploding, mouth-watering taste so pushed to the side

They leave me a waste..

I rock the countertop as a bystander to what it wants

Those added with berry, milk, or cream

So easily, easily find their dream

As I'm forgotten in the pantry with screams

But..

It's not a hate, j'adore tout les saveurs

But I wish it would devour me as much as it

Devoured them

....

I  understand though,

My color is bronze and burnt

and hair is kinkier than my peer

Lips thicker than the peach you bite

Mouth so resonant, my words can be hard to digest

It's no wonder my very presence is put to the test
