BURNING

Invisible wounds from past

Haunt me through the night

In a secret cave of pain

I still feel the fire

Of our last slow dance

Swimming in circles

In the endless feeling

Of my false dreams

I need fantasies of freedom

And your hands on me

Finding the way out

Of the endless life that’s not mine

Facing my demons

In the reflective halls of mirrors

And my jugular vein

In a blissful moment

Facing our truth

We might escape the pain

Finding our inner light

Feeling a new passion

Maybe giving myself

A permission to exist

Burning all the things

And feelings I don’t need

Might light my fire again

Show me my inner light

All my mistakes and flaws

Still magical

Just hold me and heal me

Show me the burning tower

Stand up for me

Erase my guilt

Set me free and make me smile

Be My Burning Man

And I will find new light in you
