Bully Effect

With every breath the pain deepens

hiding deeper and deeper into my heart,

emptying out feelings to make room for hurt

teaching my lips to smile as the insides of my soul battle eachother

forcing laughter through my throat as hateful words begin to fill my brain

I act happy just to prove everyone assumptions wrong.

They try to tear my down, so I let them build me up.

But that's only on the outside

on the inside, they've already won.

They hated me so much that I began to hate myself too...
