Budding

Location

Once upon a time there was a girl

Who was told she had everything in the world

She knew she didn't

Even though, she usually believed what she was told

And one day she thought she had what had sought

A thing so precious it could not be bought

Turns out however she was cheated at fate's counter

And she lost it as soon as she grapsed it.

The leaves turned brown and crisp

Her heart withered with them as she watched the  blossoms of fortunate flowers

Reminded daily of what she didn't have.

But another chance will come, she was told

Just as spring returns every year

To give new life to the old

She wished she could believe them

Which she did somewhat

But her blossom of a heart was still bitten by the frost

Waiting to be warmed by the sun.
