Buck-Fever

I wake up to the sound of my alarm
Yawn and stretch and throw on my clothes
As I look out the window it's misting, no harm
The bow is ready, the deer will pose
The mist has stopped, the air is fresh
Sun is rising in the morning from the east
Can't wait to get there, oh yes!
My imagination is having a feast
Peaceful and tranquil as I walked the grounds
Nature on Earth is like God's Heaven
At my stand, my bow full-drawn, I make no sounds
I released my arrow at a buck named "Devon"
The arrow flew swiftly, collapse is near
Overcoming buck-fever, I got a deer!
